Each design comprises a sterling silver coiled armature covered with a handknitted fine silver wire veil or skin that crisscrosses to give a beautifully delicate silhouette achieving lightness and volume; although hollow, each structure is robust enough to be worn without risk of distortion. With a minimalist, unfussy aesthetic and entirely made by hand, each piece demonstrates the versatility and graphic properties of wirework and threads. This bangle is designed to be able to stretch, the internal coil ‘gives’ to allow the wearer to put their hand through the opening which then closes around the wrist, avoiding the slipping usually associated with bangles of this size.
